Been coming here for YEARS. Food has always been great, and alison has always made sure everything ran smoothly and everything was always right, no issues happy customer, tried to make an order the other day with somebody new, i rang up for delivery, quite rare as i normally collect, but had no energy after work, i was told orders over £15 comes with free crackers great, ordered got delivered and gave driver £20, £5 tip and there was no crackers, rang up and said no crackers not included with a delivery charge, i said im a very regular repeat customer every 3-4 days. Was told would knock some money off next order, rang up 2 days later and said no discount, but a bag off free crackers was all! Forget it and my loyalty for YEARS to this place. GONE. Wont be going back nor no longer recommending this business to any of my friends or family. Customer...

With all their price increases we've been using this take away less and less, but fancied a Chinese last week. Shouldn't have bothered. The salt and pepper chips were too hot to enjoy, the chow mein more like boiled noodles with a mean bit of meat thrown in and a sauce that poured like water. The place seems to have stopped smiling at customers, and as was overheard, you've now got to spend over £15 plus delivery charge to get a free (but increasingly smaller - now there's an oxymoron) bag of prawn crackers. More take with no give for poor quality food...

We have used golden chef for the last couple of years, told my friends how good it was, however the last 2 takeaways we have had have been awful 😞 The curry sauce does not taste the same the chicken in the curry has definitely changed it tougher and not as nice

The chips are not the same quite greasy and don’t seem to be cooked properly The salt n pepper has changed it’s not as spicy and the chicken is now rubbery and chewy

So disappointed. We were wondering if owners have changed or the chef or maybe suppliers
