Visited here today with my parents for Mother’s Day and to celebrate my dads 83rd birthday on Wednesday. All the tables were busy, but it was lovely that the landlord still took time to chat and show and interest in my dad given he was born in the pub in 1940, when it was owned by his aunt and uncle at that time. It really made my dads day how the staff shown an interest. We had various meals and all of them were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. We weren’t waiting long for the food after ordering and the staff went above and beyond with the service throughout. I don’t drink beer myself but my dad had a sample of the Roebuck bitter and loved it, I would recommend The roebuck and would like to thank them for a lovely afternoon.
