My Sister and I popped in for lunch, without booking prior to our arrival, on Saturday 4th of June. We were seated in a lovely spot at the back of the garden room (with retractable roof - which is impressive on a warm, sunny day!). We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari with Wasabi Mayo, The Chicken and Halloumi Skewer and the Steak Frites... the food was delicious and the service from Guilio and Amy was first rate - really attentive and friendly but not intrusive. We also had the 'Can't Grumble Rhubarb and Marmalade Crumble' with custard which was huge for £10 (the custard could have done with a little more cream in as it was light but that was the only thing we would have changed!). The portions were that generous that we asked Amy to box some up for later to avoid waste and she did so willingly and in a little foil basket which was a joy to behold! Thanks again for a great experience, we/I look forward to visiting again soon.

First visit to this new bar. Went for house best bitter ( Weetwood brew it.) Really surprised how much I liked the bar. Excellent pint in a lovely bar. The all weather seating area to the rear needs to be seen and visited. Has its own bar but real ale in front bar only. Bramhall is much improved with this bar. (Opened Sept 2020.) Upstairs is a slightly separate middle east vegan restaurant..Otto. meat esters stay downstairs.

We love this bar and restaurant. The staff are so welcoming and the food is adventurous yet familiar. My current favourite dish? Chicken Cordon Bleu with fine green beens, buttery mash and a rich sauce. Passionate people, providing a great destination and a lovely spot for locals. The Sunday lunch is outstanding.

Really nice surprise at the quality of the place - it wasn't busy but we had a table straight away, drinks order taken & brought to us in under 5 minutes. Staff were swift & attentive but not intrusive; the food was well portioned (we shared a starter then a mains each) - I had a perfectly seqsoned pork chop, cooked excellently but could do with more sauce (not a complaint I just like sauce), with a good thick bed of Colcannon & some great purple carrots (veg can be neglected but it was all great today). The missus had a chicken & halloumi skewer, lots of meat and again cooked excellently - the slaw was really good, not too wet with lots of long, fresh sliced veg & the sweet potato chips (I don't like them as a rule) were really good, actually chip-like rather than the ubiquitous burnt mush. There was an issue with a plastic pot falling & hitting a glass of water, staff sorted it (not their fault), were very apologetic & gave us a free drink. Really impressed, will go again when we're on a...

What a pleasant suprise. We didn't know anyone who had been, but we wanted to try it and therefore had no expectations. The menu is quite varied despite being quite small and all the fussy eaters in our house easily found favourites to order. Pleasantly, the food was not the usual pub food reheated from suppliers, and we were all more than happy with their food - very tasty! Prices were reasonable too and we got five fed with proper meals and desert for the same price four us the night before in a Chinese restaurant. The only thing to be aware of is the children's lasagne, whilst tasty, is quite small and out picky 12 year old, who has a small appetite, found it too...
