Booked a table today for 5pm for 6 people my parents arrived at 4:30 and staff let them know where the table was. We then asked for a children’s menu shortly after 5 When we went to order not long later there was hardly any options left for food, everything we wanted to order except most of the children’s meal were unavailable. We understand you can be busy but you had my email and my phone number you could have notified us that you had started to run out of a lot of options. When my parents came in at 4:30 you could have said about getting an order in quick as meals were running low. When we asked for the children’s menu again you could have said not all options were available but again this wasn’t said.
I know it was busy and I would expect perhaps this to happen later of an evening but this was only 5pm?! Or if we had been asked to order ahead because it was going to be a really busy afternoon then that would have also been a good idea.
When we came back in October it was the same hardly any menu which I thought was a one off but maybe this happens a lot?

Read moreIt is a good pub full of friendly people with good prices to boot, but I found my last visit a letdown after wanting to watch the women's world cup qualifier and nope. EVERY SCREEN must be given to the men's city game, had I gone to a pub in my hometown they would've happily given me a TV so I could watch, in any pub at all like when a major sports game was on once and they turned a TV on just for me so I could watch another announcement in peace in a smaller room yes, but I appreciated that so much, this just left a bitter taste in my mouth....I will go back, absolutely it is worth it, but if you have any hope of following 'lesser' sports such as women's football who have just won a major tournament with a 100% perfect goal ratio for an upcoming world cup, forget it and go somewhere else.
I just wonder at what point they will jump on the bandwagon of success next year and pretend to be supporters of the women's game; I will...
