The Barnhouse — Restaurant in Stockport

We booked a table for 11 for Sunday lunch. My family were all visiting me, 4 of them from Germany. It was a family get together as I am just out of hospital and awaiting The start of treatement at The Christie. When we got there on Sunday we were told they had a busy few days so decided to shut the kitchen. The barman said he knew nothing about our booking yet on checking confirmed it was in the diary. We then had to ring round to see if anyone else could fit us in for Sunday Lunch. Ofcourse no one could fit 11 of us in at short notice. Despite asking for the manager/landlady to phone is we have heard nothing. What a way to run a pub/restaraunt. We ended up going back to my house and ordering in pizza. Not exactly the Carvery we were all looking forward to. Still no word of apply...

I have driven passed this place so any times and never actually took any notice until one day my dad wanted a Sunday roast to be delivered and finding a place wasn't that easy. Google found The Barnhouse which did him one of the best take-out sunday roast and even offered to deliver it to him. I collected his meal and got an instant good vibe about the place and so the following weekmy husband and I visited. Well, the food was absolutely amazing! A massive, all home made Sunday roast along with cauliflower cheese for a brilliant price, service was outstanding too. Tables were very close by but it wasn't overly busy so it wasn't an issue for us but there seems to be more space for better usage (but that won't stop me returning!). Brilliant place I'd...

I haven’t seen any place soo unique, serene and cozy like Barnhouse in England and Bredbury-Stockport to be precise.

Excellent location with a family touch class of service making everyone feel soo warm and welcome.

I have made really good friends from The Barnhouse trust me and you would love to meet a many more of such wonderful people.
