Too oily and very less quantity for the price Group of 9 paid nearly £300 I paid same amount for food catering for party of 30 people. So think before you go ! As Manchester restaurants are competitive enough to impress customer with taste and quantity and price.

Updated on 12/06/2022 after seeing owner offensive words such as ‘ Cheap’ on public forum. This shows exactly how he treated us in the restaurant, To be precise we were 9 adults, 1 elder person on diet, There were kids 4 kids in total- 2 year 3 year 4 year 6 year old kids who don’t eat outside and that too hot and spicy food. It was crowded so we had to speak in whisper in waiter ears for the order as they were already missed one Roti, didn’t wanted to miss any more orders coming in time. Just to clarify No one offer a review for discount it was totally manipulated by the owner in below comments. Otherwise you would have had 5 star review in Manchester as you seems very manipulative. Changed the actual situations and words as per your convenience to put the customer down. Readers please check my original comment for any personnel abusive words and check the below owners comment for such words.

5-STARS! Have that! 💪

FOOD - It was awesome! Fresh, hot, zesty and Insta to the max if you like to take pics of your grub! The lamb was tender and melted in my mush! The kebab was beautifully seasoned. The Naans were decent-sized and very soft and tasty! It was all top-notch!

DRINKS - 3 for 2 on cocktails. We had 2 Pina Coladas that were good and a free Mojito that was awesome. They brought it out later, and the sweetness of the brown sugar really helped finish the meal. Timing was bang on instead of bringing out 3 drinks at once!

AMBIENCE - It was a date night, and the ambience was perfect. No crazy tunes. The place is decorated really well, and everything feels premium, from the plates to the glasses. candles, decor! It is a nice place to be!

STAFF - Both guys who served us were polite, helpful and built a rapport, asking us if we had been before, telling us about their new thali, and asking if we were local! We don't like to chat with others too much on a date night, and they got the balance spot on for us!

COST - We went all in as we don't get nights out without the kids much, and we were pleasantly surprised when we got the bill! The 20% discount on food helped, and we didn't need to prompt it. It was automatically added, and 3 for 2 cocktails...

We have ordered Railway Lamb and Old Delhi Chicken from Hitchki before and were quite pleased with the quality and the taste. Decided to order again and this time added a starter “gobi manchurian” to the mix. What a mistake… in my entire life I have never been to a restaurant where gobi manchurian is rationed in “pieces” of gobi (cauliflower) .. we had ordered 7 portions of the starters for 42 pounds as we had a party at home and what we received was an absolute disgrace … each portion/serving had 4 to 5 pieces of gobi… an absolute joke and each portion worth 6 pounds didn’t weigh more than 50-75 grams.. I can confidently say that they didn’t even use a pack of 1 kg cauliflower florets that you can get for 1.5 pounds from sainsburys to make 7 portions. What made it worse was that the taste was below mediocre. No complaints about the Railway Lamb .. it was as good as before .. spoke to the restaurant after the delivery to express my disappointment and how embarrassed we felt in front of our guests… no remorse shown, my phone number was taken and I was told that the manager will call back in a few mins…. still waiting to...
