Jalfrezi Bramhall — Restaurant in Stockport

Went for dinner to this restaurant. Ordered tandoori chicken and vegetable platter for starters. Tandoori chicken arrived as a sizzler which I wasn’t expecting. Taste was alright. Veggie platter liked the bhajis and felt aloo tikki missed a bit of seasoning.For the mains ordered the vegetable Jalfrezi which I didn’t like it at all. Jalfrezi should contain capsicum, cauliflower,carrots which was missing. It was just a couple of vegetables boiled and spiced.Did I mention that the chutneys that came along with poppadum costed £2.40 which I felt bit overpriced. Tonight we have just eaten here and I won’t be returning. Food was ok, well presented but ‘warm’ not hot and the sizzlers were not sizzling. After arriving we were seated and given drink menus, we ordered food within 15 minutes. Poppadoms came and 10 minutes later the sauces arrived after going up to ask for them. Food arrived not much later and was warm. We were constantly being told they were short staffed as some things were missed off from what we had ordered. We paid and left. We did try and talk to one of the waiter but he just walked off and didn’t seem interested. Even tho we pre booked lots of embarrassing fuss when walked in as to where to sit us, the guys were so miserable and angry that it instantly set the tone for the night, the food was really nice no issues with the food at all the whole party enjoyed their meals, the worst part was the staff constantly leaning over us with their armpits in our faces while we were eating to unnecessarily clear the tables, and clearing up while some of us were still eating, and to top it off they charged £5 for a glass of flat coke!
