Nando's Stockport — Restaurant in Stockport

Here's a 2021 review update: Staff are doing a brilliant job, are very friendly and there has never been an issue. When you visit, you'll be placed in a queue and will receive a text when table is ready for you (unless there's walk in availability). To keep customers from standing in a line and ordering at the till, they've introduced a QR code ordering, and it couldn't be easier. On our last visit everything was superb, and we were well looked after by Milly.

Review from 2018: We've been visiting this Nandos for about 2 years now and we've never had a bad experience. Place is of a decent size with huge windows on two sides making it bright throughout the day and is well lit at night so you can enjoy a nice meal. Music isn't too loud so you shouldn't have any problems communicating with your friends or loved ones (unless you preffer using your phone more then having a chat) Staff are friendly and accommodating, they won't rush you and will regularly visit your table asking if everything's in order and if you require anything. Regarding the furniture, it's in a good state and clean. There is only one level/floor in this restaurant and it's wheelchair friendly. Food is done well or shall I say that you won't get an undercooked chicken. Portions are as expected and definitely not small. You have an option of takeaway and if you order too much then you can simply ask for what's left to be wrapped up for you...

I had lunch with my Dad at one of our favourite places to eat out. Where else but the scrumptious delicious Nando's. I ordered a Full platter to share. With 4 sides. Lemon and herb chicken, Peri peri chips, corn on the cob and Garlic bread. For drinks I opted for the refreshing Rubro Iced Rooibos. I would highly recommend the Peach flavour. They also sell it in Berry or Lemon flavour too. My dad had a diet coke with ice. I was Servered at the till by the friendly Gentleman called Ryan. Who was patient in taking my order The Lovely Andreas who had the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen, he had a lovely smile he was kind enough to get our Seats and table ready and brought us the food over to the table. Andreas was thoughtful, kind and very attentive. He also checked back with us to ask if we were pleased with everything. Me and my Dad had a lovely time here as always. I will definitely be coming back again soon. The Service, The quality of the food, was fresh. The Staff were amazing. Very impressed with everything. As I work for the NHS in the field of Biomedical Sciences I was able to get my NHS discount too. Sunday 3rd March...

I'd avoid this place if you can. Ordered online. Arrived 5 minutes early. There must have been 15 to 20 males stood at the delivery window, a little intimidating. Delivery driver cars parked in all crazy kinds of places. On pavements. Outside the front door. Blocking entrances. Proceed into the restaurant. Greeted and told to stand in the corner. There were already a couple of people waiting. Staff rushing past every 2 minutes to take orders to all the delivery drivers. Meanwhile myself and 5 other customers stood waiting. Half an hour later and feeling extremely annoyed, one of the 6 waiting customers got their order. By this time my legs were aching due to being stood in the same position squeezed up against the wall for half an hour. I proceeded to take a seat. Immediately I was told I wasn't allowed to sit down and was told to move. I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis so I was in some significant discomfort. Around 10 minutes later I was served my order. No sorry. No nothing. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with this restaurant. The management should seriously be ashamed of themselves! I won't...
