Save your money and go to maccies. I have given the place 3 chances. Today I visited it for the last time. First time we only got donuts, which were grossly overpriced. "It's Canadian, they're famous for donuts!" I thought. So I complied and got about 10 pounds worth of donuts...3 donuts. Nothing special. To be honest I prefer Krispy Kreme...and honestly the 5 donuts for 60p from Morrison's are actually just as nice. Anyway. After the first visit, I was open to it being an alright place despite the prices. The second time I went to meet a friend for breakfast. I arrived first with my baby and went to the bathroom, where there was no toilet roll in any of the many cubicles. Two members of staff wandered into the bathroom area from the kitchen and I let them know that I needed toilet paper. They told me they knew there was no paper and to go and get some from the counter at the front. No offer to bring me some to save me from messing about with the pram. I found it unhelpful and rude. The breakfast wrap was almost identical to the one maccies used to do, only the hash brown was not very nice. The coffee, I had heard, was supposed to be amazing. It was just average. Today i decided to give the place another go. I really wanted to try a burger. First of all. I paid 18 pounds for a burger meal, a chicken tender meal and one donut I expected top quality junk food. The chicken tenders were quite spicy so my son didn't like them. They were also lukewarm and dry and tasted as if they had been sat in a warming cupboard for hours. The lattice fries were cold and chewy. Not great. My burger was definitely not 100% beef. More like 50% meat and 50% flour and fillers. The staff was just really disinterested. They had none of the dips I ordered. Nobody made me aware of it. I was given a random selection of dips and when I went to tell them, I was told that they didn't have any of what I wanted. None of it was nice. It was all below average and the price does not match the quality by any means. Save your money and go to maccies. Literally poor man's maccies for twice the price. Not sure what the logic here is. Disappointing. I'm literally sitting here grieving the money i spent and the calories i wasted on...
Read moreOn the basis that you can’t review unless you visit, as we were shopping locally, we took the opportunity to stop and see what they had to offer. We were relatively early in the day - 10.45am, so there were no queues as such. Ordering was via screens which was pretty painless. Given a number, I joined those stood awaiting their number to come up on the screen, which actually took 10 minutes, however there did appear to be a few issues behind the counter, with staff at sixes and sevens with each other. Once served, we sat down and it was apparent that there were issues in staff cleaning tables, as many, had evidence of previous visitors. On checking the order in the bag, we were a bag of fries short, so I had to go and get those, which seemed to create a small issue, in that one staff member seemed completely non-plussed by having to provide a missing item, as it didn’t conform to some order of delivery, however, eventually they were handed over. The food was sadly not as hot as we would have liked and not to expectation taste wise, we’ve been to better fast food venues. By the time we had finished, queues had grown and a few people seemed a little frustrated by the time being taken to complete orders. Add to that when we went to leave, the bins were absolutely overflowing and there was nowhere to put the trays or the empty packages, all a bit sad and completely left us feeling less than impressed. It was noted that the front of desk staff, were constantly being interrupted by the steady flow of people picking up orders for home delivery, which didn’t help the flow and a suggestion would be to change the collection point, as it was creating issues. Additionally, if you can’t maintain a clean environment, after all that the country has been through, then don’t open, as it’s simply not acceptable in any way. Sorry Tim Hortons, but first impressions count and the management have to take the blame, as this group of staff today...
Read moreNO STARS ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES…Cannot emphasise enough why you all need to AVOID this place. After having been in Canada and enjoying many Tim Hortons, we decided to try the Stockpot branch of said business. Massive mistake, on entering there was an aircon unit leaking into the middle of the restaurant, you then have to use the machines to pre-order your food and then collect it when your number is called .We ordered our 2 chicken burgers 2 lattes and a bag of course grind coffee 300g this cost nearly £27 the burgers were over £8 each and as you can see by my pics they were soggy and unappealing this however was pale in comparison to the 4 times I had to return both burgers as ( I kid you not) they kept getting the PRE-ORDERED burgers wrong items missing , 2 stone cold CHICKEN burgers, a meat burger , etc it was ridiculous. The final time I went to the counter as none of them came back with the stated hash browns on they just handed me a bag of ingredients for me to finish my £8 each pre ordered burgers. The staff are ignorant, poorly trained, badly led as it seemed no one was taking control and as we waited for our order, at least 3 other orders were being brought back to the counter as they were all wrong too.I think Tim Horton would be ashamed of what you are doing in his names sake. I want a refund as the inedible food was horrendous.HOWEVER great coffee. My advise ONLY...
