Had a great afternoon out at the brewery tour, including staying for a meal afterwards. Semi downside.. and it seems rare.. but before the tour your informed walking around here warm so hang up your coat. My girlfriend's coat was then taken, completely by mistake as there were two of the same coat, so it was an honest mistake. (She got it back a few days later) but still.. just leaving my feedback.

Best brewery tour with the best tour guide. Gary is incredibly knowledgeable while being very entertaining and engaging. Very sad that the old brewery is closing but this company has a great heritage of investing in the future while being mindful of their history. I’m also delighted to hear that the shire horses will continue their work after moving to the new brewery site.

Just got back from a very informative and interesting tour, Gary was humorous and full of facts. The site is very open and allows visitors to see the secrets of brewing in Stockport. Get on the tour before it closes and moves to Bredbury, well worth the beer tokens at the end.

We had a private party here. The venue was fantastic for the amount of guests we had (60-70). The team were great before and during the event in ensuring we had everything we needed (mics/projectors/acoustics etc).

The buffet was exceptional with even the fussiest eaters in the party pleased with the variety on offer. A good selection of well filled sandwiches, and varied hot accompaniments - the halloumi proved very popular. We liked that there was space for people to eat at a formal table if they so wished.

Some of the attendees went on the brewery tour beforehand. One lifelong ale fan commented how detailed and informative the tour was (and he'd been on a few!). The tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable in her field and very engaging at the same time.

I would certainly use this venue again...

The Robbies brewery is a great place to go to buy some souvenirs , have a drink or have a bite to eat. BUT the best thing to do here is the brewery tour. my latest visit was the second time i did the tour so i expected it to be very samie, but i was wrong, my tour guide Gary have a very deep knowledge of the breweries history and workings and offered more insight than my previous visit, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It take about 2 hours and you get 3 3rd pints at the end of the tour in the very nice bar they have there (Which is always open to the public).i would highly recommend this to anyone, Weekend tours can be quite busy but mid week day time tours are good, there were only 4 of us on...

I visited with friends from The Netherlands this rainy lunchtime. From the cheery reception by Olivia on our arrival, to the informative and entertaining tour by our excellent guide Graham, and finally to the service in the café/bar afterwards, the experience was most enjoyable and, despite the opinion of a previous reviewer, generally good value for money. My only reservation was the price of food which was somewhat on the steep side. I would advise intending visitors to check the website for information about parking...
