Exceptional food and great staff! We popped in on a last minute decision to grab some food. We hadn't booked but luckily they were able to seat us. They told us we could only have the table for a certain amount of time, but wasn't an issue at all as the service was so swift. The staff were very attentive and excellent. The portions were huge and the price really reasonable. We loved all our dishes and, if we're in the area again, we will definitely return!

We decided to book this venue for our department from work. We are glad we did. The staff are so friendly and welcoming from the word go. Our food was top notch. All served together and without a hitch. It was definitely very tasty and competitively priced. I myself had beef madras and it was cooked perfectly. Every one in our group polished of everything. Thanks to all the staff for making our night an enjoyable and tasty experience.

I Ordered a takeaway from Indian Cottage, Burslem, looked at the website and the dish on their web site Chicken Tikka Masala looked really appetising , only to find when the delivery arrived nothing like the photo and all it consisted of was a red sauce, no veg, no garnish and just a couple of lumps of chicken the frozen chicken from Pak foods in a bag. It tasted awful to say the least, we left it outside for the fox but even the fox did not want it. I have emailed Indian Cottage with my complaint, but I have had no reply, but I am not surprised!! I expected this so I will contact my credit card company and see what they can do?

Food is always good. Portion sizes were good. We had chicken tikka balti, lamb dupiaza, rice, chicken chaat starters, naan bread and poppadoms with the chutneys. Staff are always good, and make the effort to go above and beyond. Chicken chat has shrunk, and so has the portion of rice. Overall great tasting food and good value.

The food from India Cottage is very good. We have eaten in and had take away from this resturant for over 15 years, it was taken over by the the new owners about a year ago but after a few lower standard meals at the beginning I have to say the food is now very good although the chicken chaat starter has shrunk considerably.

Went here with my partner for our anniversary was a lovely experience first time I’ve been as I don’t live locally like my partner does but I must say the food was amazing and the staff are very welcoming and pleasant very relaxed atmosphere we loved it will definitely be back soon
