Always nice staff nice cheap prices too I posted this a while ago as never had a problem with the pub or the staff

That was until last Friday when a doorman( quite a small guy with a little ponytail) physically punched a lad in the face not just a little slap a full on punch not even in self defence as the lad hadn't done anything I've always enjoyed it in there but think I'll be giving it a wide berth I dont trust the door staff now which is a shame as there are a few who are really nice polite and can have a good laugh with. It reflects bad on the pub and I hope that no one else is abused this way by this doorman who should have his badge...

I do not recommend this place. Drinks are pretty expensive, the staff is full of drama, and the management is pretty racist…. I attended this place, because i was in town for a few days, but my experience in this place ended up ruining my entire time in Stoke. Also its pretty dangerous. I was assaulted at this place. I consulted with management about being attacked, but instead of the management listening to my version, i was thrown out. Wait what?!? I was assaulted by a stranger then i had to leave?!? This is another one of those places I walked into while on a night out and found out that I loved it almost immediately, the staff are friendly and are more than willing to have a joke while on shift which is always a plus. The drinks aren't pricey and they always have deals on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. If you have a group of friends who love getting drunk but don't like clubbing. An hour or two in here and they'll be in Chicagos faster than the basic white girl who...
