Changed its name to hide it's shame (Bombay house, check the reviews)...only drunk people could enjoy this ..minus 5 stars, these people are throwing anything into a bit of cheap ghee... probably the worst food this side of stoke on Trent and half portions at that, that rude they hang up on complaining customers..it's a money place, absolutely no pride in their food at all..lamb balti was awful, the naan was well soggy and uncooked, the photo is my £10.95 Bombay chefs special curry ,2 centimetres deep in a small plastic container with 2 tiny pieces of chicken and lamb couldn't see the prawns so they must be the tiny ones that disintegrated ,could have got double that from Iceland for £1.50,I had toast and cheese instead of this gruel..nasty woman on the phone is in denial about all the bad feedback..she says on another post they don't use plastic containers (liar).and never trust a untruthful rude person with your food(think about it ! )everybody is just picking on them why ? just look at the reviews !..ps..just eat couldn't care less either !..will get my money back off my credit card, section 75 opened !

Just aweful. The dhansak was swimming in grease. The keema nan had lamb in so thin it was like paste. The paneer dish was more a chickpea soup and the tarka dhal was just some random looking liquid. The poppadoms were good but the sambols were tiny and the garlic pickle was missing. The garlic mushroom bharji was just a slop with what looked like tinned mushrooms. As for the garlic rice, dry and tasteless. I used to use the Bombay Club all the time, such a shame. So in response to the accusation that I am a false customer I provide an image of my receipt, the order screen, the keema nan with the paste looking substance and the slop of a tarka dhal. Just as I thought. No response.

This was our first visit but it definetely won't be the last. The food is superb. I had Fish Pakora for starters which was deliciously tasty. Following this, I had Chicken Tikka Pasanda. The blend of coconut, almonds, pistachio and cashew nuts was just right, with spices that didn't over shadow the taste. The pilau rice was cooked to perfection with added extra. The pic is of the lamb bhuna which was equally delicious with tender pieces of lamb. Spiced up just enough, not overwhelming to hide the taste. We had excellent attentitive service at a lovely laid out table. All in all, a great dining experience at this little gem.

I'm actually annoyed to have to write this, as we have ordered a few times from here and the food has been amazing, to the point I recommended them to family and friends, I'm a really fussy eater, so it says alot for me to recommend somewhere.. However, I placed an order on 19th April to receive a phone call immediately to say they had not opened due to an issue and said that I would get a refund as they had not accepted the order. The amount was showing as pending for 3 days and then was taken from my account. I sent a message through their website, a week later and no response, I emailed them and no response. I called them 2 days after to advise of the above and to be offered the food again.. and some freebies thrown in.. and that they had a new menu. We decided to have the food again, to be then told we had to pay £6 for a starter and side.. which were the only other things we added on extra (no freebie was given not even a poppadom). The food wasn't the best either, I requested a mushroom madras and I ended up with a vegetable curry. Not impressed with the service or the food sadly and won't be ordering or...

'would rate 0 stars if i could. i am completely disgusted at not only the response to my complaint, but the blatant attitude of the staff. after finding a hair in the sauce- which put me off the whole meal- i phoned the restaurant, only to be told that i was making it up, 'are you sure its not a herb?' i was told, i work in the food industry myself, i know whats a herb and whats most definitely a hair. the manour of the lady on the phone was completely unprofessional, calling me 'love' many times even when prompted not to do so. then i was told i would have to wait a week for a refund in an attempt for them to avoid refunding the cost, no doubt. then they tried to take my card details over the phone for a 'partial refund' which is completely unsafe to do so, i was told they were going to write my account details down and just have them lying around on a receipt for a week. its completely insecure to do so. other places have had no issue with refunding with money they have on site in the past. i advise everyone to avoid this place, spend your money elsewhere, where you will be valued as a customer. i will never...
