Reflex - Hanley — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Went in here last night Saturday 16th about 9:30pm it was very quite. Now I have a lot of allergies/intolerances to things barley being one of them that I’m very sensitive to. The first round I bought the bar man was confused but understanding that I needed the Smirnoff from the measure off the wall so as not to use a contaminated shot cup off the side and also let me check the ingredients on the cranberry juice. On my second round I was served by a young girl I asked for the shot of vodka off the wall and she poured one from the shot cups instead. I explained to her I wasn’t being funny but that cup could be cross contaminated she explained that they were rained out after every use (which was just a cereal bowl full of water?) she said it’s safe I assured her it wasn’t and she said she didn’t like using the measure on the wall. Eventually she poured me another one whilst rolling her eyes and slamming everything she did even pouring the original shot back in another bottle and swilling the cup out in this bowl. got kicked out for being to drunk apparently, the doorman said I couldn't walk in straight line and took me outside. I tired took speak to him and offered to walk in a straight line for him to prove that I was not stumbling, could walk fine and was not drunk to which he walked back inside the premisis and did not even attempt to let me prove that I was not intoxicated. I tried to approach other memebers of the security team who also said I was NOT intoxicated and explained the doorman was new. I then tried to attempt to get back in and the the management (poor) said we were not allowed back in because my girlfriend had messaged them for an explanation as to why I was kicked out in the first place. To be honest the two door staff outside seem like generally friendly people who were; nice, friendly and helpful it was the management and the individual member of door staff who were unreasonable and and ridiculous. I am typing this review no more than half an hour after being kicked out so clearly I am not to drunk type a paragraph on how poor the management and this individual is but I'm too drunk to be inside...

Shocking night out rude bar staff went in early bar staff all huddled at end of bar talking and laughing and some on phones they see u waiting and engnore you for a while then someone eventually comes to serve u with a disgraceful attitude if u ask about prices on drinks they tut and make up prices the women behind the bar are so rude and impatient wanting get back on their phones charge you more for the drinks than quoted when you asked them . This place as gone down bank needs new staff who are interested in serving customers and who have knowledge worst night out the assistant manger lady with glasses is shocking rude and disrespectful and needs lessons in customer service don’t they realise us paying customers keep her and the rest of the so called...
