I don’t understand how a restaurant can mess up so utterly. I ordered on the app and requested to collect my food through the drive through. I was greeted by a moody teenager that seemed like he wanted to be anywhere but there (which is fine but you don’t show that to customers). I was told to park in a bay and wait for my food to be brought over to the car. After about a 10 minute wait I was given a bag. This bag was someone else’s order, and someone else must have received mine. I went back round the drive through again and was greeted by a different person who had a better attitude, I was told to advance onto the next window, as I did I was greeted by that moody teenager again who also told me to go to the next window. I felt like they were playing pass the parcel to see who would end up dealing with the problem. At the last window they had absolutely no idea what they were doing, they didnt know what I had ordered so I had to explain it to them again (being interrupted 3 times). Finally they told me to wait in the bay again, so I did. About another 10 minutes pass by a worker came to give me my order. I thought this was supposed to be fast food, mind you it wasn’t busy and there were at least 6 workers in the back. After I returned home I realized that they forgot the chicken select meal that I ordered, what a waste of my time and not to mention the money that I’ve realistically just donated due to the lack of my food.

Went through the drive through I had to repeat my self like 20 times on a basic order as the man kept getting it wrong it even showed on the screen eventually what I had ordered correctly I then went round to the window paid (thinking order is correct) I then was passed my drinks and the woman then asked if I wanted sachets for my latte? What latte didn’t order one had to sit there then sniff testing that they was actually hot chocolate that I had ordered.. then get told to go and pull up in a bay and over 5 minutes it took to bring rest of my order out to my surprise I didn’t in fact have a breakfast roll I had a bacon roll with a ridiculous amount of ketchup that was pouring out onto my lap.. my autistic child was having a meltdown when we realised they kept egg on the sausage McMuffin even though I asked twice for it to be removed and the man even repeated back to me that I wanted it removed and I said yes! I thought the kitchen had got it all wrong but nope checked my receipt and it was all there he had messed it up but how can it be correct on the screen to me then driving round to it been changed to been wrong? Read moreI have to admit I don't use McDonalds much any more but called in here tonight as we're staying in the Premier Inn next door. A fairly simple order of 2x double cheeseburgers, 2x fries and 1x cheesy dips and only a couple of other people waiting so thought it would be a nice quick option. Waited almost 15 minutes for the food despite there not being many customers in there, although there were plenty of orders on the screen for Deliveroo and Just Eat which obviously take priority over walk-in customers now. When we finally did get our food the burgers were barely warm and had an unusual rubbery squeak to them when you bit into them, the fries were dry and completely stone cold, and the cheesy dips didn't even have the advertised tomato dip with them. Glad I picked up a couple of sachets of salt at the time as they were literally the tastiest part of the meal (and to be honest we didn't finish the burgers or fries as they were so unappetising). This is the second time I've had a very similar experience in McDonalds this year out of just two visits (the other visit was a different location) but with the focus now obviously being home delivery at the expense of quality and customer service for walk in diners I think this will be the last time we visit a McDonalds.
