Security guard scratched the holographic off of my ID and questioned whether it was me despite my identifying all questions that he asked me. Once I was inside I was greeted kindly by one bar member and then was kicked out almost immediately by the security (after purchasing a pint) simply because I knew someone who had entered the pub. I would never consider eating here….if the public areas are that dirty…the mind boggles regarding the cleanliness of the kitchen. It also looks very run down everywhere.Old broken furniture still being used, old dirty flat cushions for seating, lots of old broken furniture in what could be a hidden gem of a garden. It was very quiet, however, we were waiting at the bar for 10 minutes to be served. The bar tenders were not busy, didn't even bother coming up to us and apologising for the wait.
