Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Sunderland

Went in to cafe seaburn morrisons Tuesday 20th Feb 2024. Tables not cleared. Ketchup sprayed onto divider. Service was abysmal. Cashier didn't know if she was coming or going. One server bringing out meals. No cups or cutlery, only paper cups. My friend is diabetic and needed to eat something and asked for egg and chips. We waited approx 40 mins before server informed us no eggs. So asked for some gravy. It came back in a bowl , chips drenched with gravy it was cold ant not very appetising. Still tables hands been cleared. Forgot to mention earlier we had to clear and clean our table using wet wipes we had on us. Complained to a male manager who said he was sorry about the service but was filling in as he didnt work at that branch. So did nothing. Found a female manager and informed her of what was happening. She was very helpful and took action. We were reimbursed. Her name was Lauren.so a big thank you to you for your help. We will never eat in there again. Standards have dropped massively . Food was terrible. Ordered the turkey roll with stuffing and cranberry. It arrived looking nothing like the picture and no cranberry. I asked for the cranberry and 5mins later was told she couldn't find any in the kitchen! Nobody bothered to tell me there was no cranberry before servung it and was not offered an alternative. The turkey was awful and the stuffing barely filled a slight gap in my teeth. Also ordered 2 1/4lb burgers but we were told they had no burgers? Can they not get them from the store? The same would apply to the cranberry sauce to be fair. Instead we got the Southern fried chicken burgers. These were very greasy and filled less than half the bun so ended up having half a dry bun. I visited morrisons cafe today 26/05/24. First of all no staff on till, ordered mixed grill and cheese toastie with bottle of coke and a coffee. The coffee was absolutely disgusting. The staff bought the meals out and the uniform she was wearing was scruffy the gammon on the grill was absolutely disgusting you could not get your knife through it also it was covered in some white matter which looked like it had been boiled it certainly was not fried or grilled and the chips had been dipped i dont no how many times needless to say we will not be returning and i think environmental health should...
