Nice Curry Chinese Takeaway — Restaurant in Sunderland

First time ordering & for us it wasn't the best in our opinion, chili and garlic prawn chow mein was pretty bland with not enough flavour, We ordered it extra spicey & it still wasn't great, Prawns were cooked beautifully though just really lacking in flavour, Crispy chicken & beef extra spicy was basically just batter with little to no meat, and we ordered a portion of chips mushrooms rice and curry but the chips were forgotten so we ended up with a plate of boiled rice in curry sauce 😂 the curry was really bland too unfortunately, Overall it was pretty disappointing, They did throw in free prawn crackers & a can of pop which was appreciated & the only reason i gave the extra star, Nearly £40 on the order & it wasn't worth the...

The Foo Young was an omelette, they are NOT the same ! Very filling, BIG chunks of chicken, some beef and 3 big shrimp. WAY OVER COOKED ! with just 3 strands of beansprouts !

The salt & pepper ribs are a complete "cop out". Standard slow cooked pieces of ribs, that they then thrown salt n pepper on .... no chillis !

Very nice food, I usually get chips, chicken satay skewers and salt and pepper chicken, I don’t like how they do the deep fried chicken though, I ordered the deep fried once and never again because they have only a tiny bit of chicken in there and the exterior is extremely thick.
