Da Vinci Pizza — Restaurant in Sunderland

My first and certainly last order from this shop. I ordered food with delivery and was told "you're total is £8.80". After 30 minutes since calling I get a call from the shop to say they can't find the house so I try and direct them, this took a considerable amount of time, and I was very dissatisfied that as a customer I was put in that situation.

When the delivery driver eventually finds the house he asked for £10.80, I quickly disputed his asking price and informed him I was told £8.80 over the phone. He then proceeds to call the shop and claimed "I was refusing to pay", although evantually just gives in and makes it £8.80, the price I was told was the total over the phone.

I think this shop needs to reevaluate how it tells customers the total cost, and to include delivery charge with that.

And I thought that was going to be the most of the negatives, but oh no I didn't know what I was in for. The food presentation looked as though it was undercooked, and then tasting the pizza it made me immediately feel physically sick...

I don't even know why I even thought it was a good idea to order from this shop, and I will certainly be looking at much more better takeaway shops, that don't treat customers as though they are trying to get something for a...

Can't speak for other users but my first experience from this place has been great. We used their own website and added notes to the chef to remove certain ingredients. Unfortunately when the pizza was delivered they handnt seen the note. Gave the shop a call and they were more than happy to send a fresh one out with no quarrels. Also has a mixed kebab and the chicken and Donna meat were cooked to perfection, veg was nice and fresh for a change too compared to other shops lately. Will definitely be ordering from here again and trying the rest...

Bought a doner wrap here the other day for £4.90. When I ordered the exact same sandwich today the employee tried to charge me £7.90. When I asked why it wasn’t £4.90 (price was displayed on the overhead menu) he told me that it was an “old price” which clearly was not true. When I showed him the receipt from the last sandwich I bought(a day or two ago) he finally admitted that he had made a “mistake” despite blatantly LYING to me when I asked about he price. This is a really pathetic and disgusting way of conducting business....
