Where to begin? From the moment you enter the restaurant you are welcomed by extremely professional and polite receptionist and unbelievable ambience.

Venue itself feels magical, you can’t compare it with anything you experienced in dining industry, it is just different. By different I mean it’s next level, and certainly the most exclusive place in whole Sunderland if not Newcastle… tables and sits are extremely comfortable and very stylish, feels very vintage but so modern at the same time, you can clearly tell that design of the restaurant was very important to the owner.

To begin with service, we were approached by the owner himself as well as his general manager. We were welcomed and felt special, in fact the time they devoted to us throughout the whole experience and time we had there was unbelievable… they took us through the menu, enquired about what do we like and what would be the best options to try as well as the extensive choice of beverages both non and alcoholic…

We managed to get some extra complimentary stuff from the chef of the house and I’m not gonna lie, specific side we were presented with (potatoes, which had more flavour and added toppings that you’d ever see anywhere else tasted more like a Michelins restaurant experience than you’d think)…

As an overall I can clearly say that this venue became my to go choice for food at least once a week now. I’ll continue on attending until I’ll cover entire menu that is already evolving despite the fact restaurant is brand new to the scene…

Great things to come, definitely coming back and highly recommending the venue and fabulous customer service.

We had a very disappointing night at this restaurant. I had really wanted to go after seeing press, reviews and the owners own wishes for this to be a different Indian restaurant. The restaurant was extremely busy and was taking alot of walk-ins. This meant that we waited an hour for starters and a further 30 mins for mains. When the food came it was lovely however. I'm not sure what demographic this restaurant is aimed at as it has a large lounge area at the front (which was mainly empty) with a large TV screen playing football when we were there. From my seat, that's all I could see. If I'd wanted to eat looking at football there are any number of cheaper places I could have gone to. Also, the music was clearly aimed at 20 something's and was so loud we couldn't have a conversation or hear the waiters when they spoke to us. We sat in booths which were comfortable enough but attached to the ones behind and every time the man behind moved, which he did frequently sadly, it shook our seat. Maybe get the joiner back to do the job correctly? The staff were lovely and we're very apologetic about our wait, the table next to us had waited longer and complained. However, the nail in the coffin for us was the £15 service charge added to our bill which, given the situation,we thought was a bit of an insult! The food was delicious but very overpriced and we won't be...

Went here as part of restaurant week and a family treat.

Booked the table on the day which was great. We walked into the restaurant which seemed empty and were greeted by a young man who seen us to our table.

The service was fast and food came quickly. We ordered 6 poppadoms which seem to arrive In a bowl but all broken up which was strange and I’m unsure how they couldn’t we had 6 considering they were all broken.

The food was nice we were recommended the gun powder fries which didn’t live up to the expectations.

When coming to pay the bill we were charged incorrectly for everything instead of the restaurant week which had to be amended. This is when we noticed the 10% service charge which only seemed to be added as we got the restaurant week offer. This did upset up as the money we saved was then added back plus more on the service charge.

When this was corrected we came to pay the bill but were advised the card machine was down and they could only accept cash or bank transfer this was a shock as this had not been mentioned at the time of booked or before placing any food orders.

Luckily one of the guests had online banking and transferred the money over to the director.

Overall the food was nice but wouldn’t rush back due to the service...

Very disappointed. I’d been looking forward to visiting here for months. The restaurant does look incredible, decor looks amazing and fresh cut flowers in the toilets and around the dinning area but the service and price let this restaurant down. There was no one at the door to greet us, only 8 tables in when we arrived at 8:00pm on a Friday night and plenty of staff on duty. I ordered a chicken dish that was served on a sizzler with a side salad…it was a garnish, you can see it in the photo. A handful of mixed leaves, 2 slices of red onions and 4 pomegranate seeds. My partner loves a madras so ordered that with chips…which were frozen chips, at £3.95 a portion I may add, not your usual chunky hand cut chips. He would have had a better meal from a takeaway. We did give the waiter feedback at the end and apparently were not the first people to complain about their chips or salad. We won’t be going back.
