Ordered food from Ling Sun tonight which was supposed to be delivered in 1h - we live 10mins away from the take away. When the food wasn't with us after 1h and 15mins my wife rang up the restaurant to enquire about the order. The lady working at the take away was eager to get her off the phone and told her that the driver was on the way and the food would be with us soon. So we continued waiting... When the food was still not there after 1h 55mins I rang the take away and asked about what was happening with our food and whether it was going to arrive at all. I voiced my opinion that this type of service was not acceptable (in a polite but firm way) and the repetitive answer from the lady at the take away was, "Thank you. The driver will be with you soon." There was no update and no apology whatsoever, just her sounding-like-a-broken-record ridicouling comment, "Thank you. The driver will be with you soon." I told her that the food was best going to be at ours within the next 10mins because the driver wouldn't have to bother with the delivery at all otherwise.
Magically (!) the food turned up 10 minutes later - without an apology by the driver of course! Well, and what can we say about the food but it was massive waste of money! When we tucked in - after the food had taken over 2h to be delivered - it was barely warm! Cold spring rolls, duck, rice and barely warm soup and black bean sauce beef. Massive disappointment - over half of it gone straight to the bin.
We'll not be getting food from here again - we do understand that sometimes places can end up busier than expected. However, with such abysmal customer service and staff that can't even be arsed to apologise for such a hidious experience, we feel that our money is spent better elsewhere. These guys certainly don't deserve...

I found a hair in my food , I phoned up to let them know . The manager was in the shop and refused to come on the phone to speak with me . The only way I could get a full refund (which I was assured I would reveive) was for me to take the food back to the shop myself !! Even though the shop was at fault . I had my 5 year old son with me . The manager came to the counter and immediately started aggressively bashing the food on the counter and shouting because I had ate SOME of the food . He refused to give me a refund at first . I ended up having to argue infront of my son and only got some of my money back . This is appalling behaviour and left my son so scary that he was begging me to run back to the car and lock the doors because "the nasty man scared him" . I will not be ordering from here again and will be informing anyone who plans to order from here of...
Read moreI placed at order through just eat at 7:50, this was accepted straight away and estimated a delivery time of 8:35-8:55, which seems normal. We waiting until 9:05 when i requested an update and got a text from the restaurant to say it would be delivered 9:15. When this wasn’t delivered by 9:25 I rang the restaurant to ask for an update, I was then told it would be out on delivery in five minutes. I asked if it hadn’t been made yet and the person on the phone said no but would take between five and twenty minutes to cook. As we had waited over an hour and a half for this order, to find out it hadn’t been cooked yet I said I would need a refund and would check with my partner to make sure this was what we wanted, the lady pushed me for her to cancel the order and before I could respond she hung up.
