A little tip for Katie, who I believe is the owner of the Snow Goose, watch and learn from your friendly and polite members of staff who have excellent customer service skills, unlike yourself. Katie greeted my friend and I at the door of the Snow Goose with the very welcoming phrase "we're full". Not sure why my friend and I decided to stay and wait for a table after that welcome but we did. We were very impolitely told by the very rude Katy that she had no idea how long we would have to wait for a table, however a table became available after waiting approx 3 minutes. Katy cleaned the table which was at the back of the Snow Goose. We then politely asked if we could sit at the empty table that had also become available near the front of the coffee shop. The lovely Katy then snarled "it hasn't been cleaned yet". We offered to wait until it had been cleaned which took about 5 seconds - so was that a problem? Needless to say I will never ever go back again. Shame on you Katy. By the way the 1 star is for your lovely staff. I score you a big fat 0....
Read moreTerrible customer service. My wife and I called into the cafe and as we had walked 20km my wife's back was hurting so she sat down at one of 4 empty outside tables in a row. I stood by the door to check in and the lady asked if I wanted to sit indoors or outdoors. I said outside and asked if it was okay to use the table my wife was now sitting at. The lady then went crackers and raised her voice to my wife to say she had to use track and trace before she sat down. My wife and I always use track and trace and thought this hostile attitude was deplorable. What difference does it make if we check in before or after we sit down? The woman made us feel terrible so we decided to leave. We both believe in safety but also believe in treating people as you expect to be treated yourself. Judging by the woman we encountered at the cafe, she'll have no custom soon as she appears to treat her customers like rubbish. We used to frequent this cafe quite a lot before Covid and always enjoyed it. After todays experience we will never come to this cafe again. What a...
Read moreCalled for coffees and scone today. 2 lattes and a cappuccino.. all were terrible. More water than coffee or milk. Brought to the attention of server who hardly listened but then brought 2 extra shots of coffee. Still awful so left. Asked when paying if a deduction could be made for the poor coffees which had to be left. Holly needs better customer service training and lose her attitude! Explained what the problems were which she dismissed by saying 'we never get complaints about our coffee, we only ever put one shot in and they are made with all milk' no apologies at all! She very reluctantly deducted the cost of one coffee out of the 3. Shocking customer service from her! The warmed scone however was nice but small. Would not return as there are too many establishments on the sea front serving excellent coffees and food with staff who treat their customers...
