Sue's Café — Restaurant in Sunderland

Went for a family stroll yesterday at the beach and stopped off at sues cafe. We sat on the benches opposite the cafe and had some chips and a cuppa. The staff are all so hopeful and friendly. I asked if she could do me some sausages for the dog and she two minutes see what we have left for the dogs. She then can out with a bag of what looked like savaloys. Sue and the girls (ok Rob we wont leave you out), offer outstanding service and keep the place spotlessly clean. The food is fantastic value for money...curry and chips £2.20. The homemade quiche is delicious! Its in a great spot for having a cuppa while walking along the beach with a sort of covered in gazebo at the rear if the weather is inclement. What a friendly place this seems, often when you find these places where the custom is guaranteed one is not surprised when the service is poor.

Today I was pleasantly pleased with all aspects of Sues cafe.

The lady serving was lovely. She was speedy but not to the detriment of the experience.

The prices were excellent, especially for a seaside establishment.

The bacon sandwich was tasty and very welcome.
