The Terrace — Restaurant in Sunderland

Because I can’t go any lower with star rating I’ve chosen 1 star Called in for a drink at 6 pm Saturday evening only to find that a group of 10 x 12 -13 year olds sat on the terrace area vaping Asked the staff/manager if they thought this was acceptable they do !! Apparently they are allowed in without an adult up until 8pm they can buy non alcoholic drinks from the bar without adult supervision they were left unchecked in an area where adults were drinking alcohol These youths sat and drank 2 x mock tails which they purchased from the bar themselves then proceeded to pretend scrap with each other tipping chairs and treating the place like a youth club. When asked to calm down by ourselves the expected cheek was given. No member of staff came out to check if all was ok after we expressed our concerns What a ‘great’ atmosphere this created Never again will we enter this establishment unless of course it’s on a school trip !!! Went here with work colleagues for my 30th birthday, greater by great floor staff however seems they like to keep you waiting around for drinks, very slow. Food was ok but not much to share between 6 people, poor. Manager ignorant as we asked 6 times for my friends chips which she requested in dietary requirement and we never received as manager said he wouldn’t be serving them, he was very ignorant. Cocktail menu very poor - didn’t taste much alcohol in them and again very very slow didn’t get monies worth at all and my friend was at the chippy after for some food as they didn’t bother catering to her dietary needs.
