TTonic — Restaurant in Sunderland

The drinks are good, the bartenders are hard working people, and I enjoyed my time with my housemates and the girl whose birthday party I was celebrating the night I'm writing this review, but while I was smoking a cigarette at 2:40 a.m., one of the security staff told me and the rest that we have to smoke outside the rest. So, I went out, with half of my drink, and half of my cigarette already lighted because I smoked in the back side of the pub where smoked is allowed.When I got out, one of the security staff told me out of nowhere that I'm rude for drinking outside and coming out with the cigarette lighted (because he maybe thought I smoked in the pub) but he didn't want/didn't accept any of my explanation as I'd I've stollen the drink, had a fight inside and smoked in the pub all night. He took my drink from my hand and went inside while without any explanation while his colleague was telling me to go home, so I smoked my cigarette but then they wouldn't let me back inside. I came to this pub N times but this is by far the worst night I had regarding the professionalism of the staff. Yeah the females behind the bar couldn't even do their job. They were speachless she wanted to speak to me but.

Spend your money in a higher value bar.

Advise against talking to the cheap cat behind the bar. Just attention seeking girls. She wasnt listening it was easy. How embarrassing it would be, to know i came here.

Doorman said when i came in that Female staff hate their jobs here. So i was already not expecting much.

So desperate. Try being patience when your waiting for a customer instead of disrespecting them.

Very unusual place. If you're looking for a crazy story the next day then without a doubt, this is your place. Whilst the staff are helpful whenever they appear to feel like it, they also appear to be in some strange mean girls-esque "clique", and if one member takes a disliking to something as superficial as your appearance, then in spite of spending the evening on soft drinks, custom will be refused. It would be a decent establishment, and I personally know folk that have previously enjoyed food and drinks here for many, many years.
