Sway Ascot — Restaurant in Sunninghill and Ascot

Zeus is trying to be a restaurant AND a night club and is not doing either well. Food was mediocre at best. They turned the music up at around 2100 and I had to ask for it to be turned down because I couldn’t hear my friend speaking over dinner. Establishment looked like a late night bar/night club and not a restaurant. Service was generally pretty poor. At the end, the waiter who was also the owner came to take payment and just thrust the machine in front of me expecting me to do everything myself, no eye contact, no thank you for coming, no how was your meal, nothing, and before that he had purposely asked for the music to be turned back up to try and get rid of the remaining guests who were eating.

Zeus - stop trying to be everything and try to do one thing well, because at the moment you’re failing at everything.

If it was trying to be a night club, well it was DEAD at 2230 on a SATURDAY

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday party at Zeus Ascot, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. First, the owner, Satpal, was absolutely amazing—attentive, helpful, and truly passionate about ensuring everything went smoothly. Nice enough venue but was let down by thr service. Attended a birthday party in the function room upstairs. Was charged £20 for 2 singles in plastic cups with no ice, cheap alcohol and flat coca cola from a bottle. When I complained that the drink was flat the barman questioned and stated it can't be i just opened a fresh bottle, begrudgingly made another drink that was no better. Shocking service for a £10 drink...
