Disastrous visit.
Served a charcuterie board from their specials which promised iberica pata negra and ended up with salami and pork loin from aldi. They'd literally served a pack from a supermarket. The service was shoddy. The chef forgot about 3 starters and it was difficult to signal a waiter. One signalled that he was coming to us then ended up talking to a table with ladies and never arrived. Service was slow more generally and nobody wanted to take our order for mains or clear our starters (meal took 2.5hrs without a dessert).
The paella main was God awful. Boiled rice with overcooked seafood. No saffron or seasoning and I'm sure they used colouring for the rice. They've gamed their menu by overpricing other mains to lead you towards the paella. Whatever you do, stay clear of it!
To top it off, we unwittinly booked on a raceday (in the evening). The place turns into a bar / club and the music gets cranked up. It was already loud and after 8pm it's impossible to talk to the person opposite you. Also the clientele is shameful. They didn't mind letting in people who were inebriated and only intended on drinking further. One customer, unzipped and pulled down his trousers to tuck in his shirt. I was only glad my children had their back to him..
Don't get me started on the toilets. One cubicle each for mens and women's and the men's was a sight to behold. Better to hold it in than get your shoes soiled.
Relayed my complaints to the waiter who knocked off the price of 1 paella we ordered. He also gave me a look which told me he'd had to deal with this many times before.
From reading other reviews, it looks like the owners don't know what they want the place to be (restaurant / bar / club) and only intend on fleecing anyone walking through their doors.
If you fancy tapas, do yourself a favour and avoid this place. Thought of going back...

My friends and I decided to eat here on a Tuesday evening as part of the Government's eat out to help out scheme but unfortunately I don't think any of us will be returning. On arrival it took us over an hour to be seen with regards to our food orders, we even had to get up and ask the waiter to come and see us, making it seem like they had forgotten about us completely. This was a running theme on the night as the table behind us simply got up and left for the exact same reason, without ordering their food. The table to our left were similarly chasing the waiters round the restaurant simply for their attention. We decided to persevere with our order however, specifically asking all dishes to come at the same time, hoping for a much quicker service second time round than had already been provided.
Another hour long wait and our food finally arrived however those who had ordered mains had to wait another twenty minutes or so after the other dishes had arrived, despite us asking this not to be the case. All in all, the final result was at least a two hour wait between when we sat down and our food arriving, really slow and reckless service in my opinion, did not feel welcome.
The food was nice but in reality the whole ordeal was a bit of a shambles and essentially...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant recently as it mentioned tapas on the front. I can confirm that this is NOT a tapas restaurant by any measure. We ordered 6 different tapas items for myself, wife and son. I would say every single item was a frozen item that had simply been heated up and presented. The only items that were fresh were our ciders as they came from sealed bottels. Even my sons mocktail was basically a juice from a carton. While the parking and overall staff service was good, the food is poor. I would not go to this place if this was the last restaurant on the face of the planet. Pan con tomate - fancy name for a toast with raw tomato paste with little flavour Croquetas de bacalao - supposed to be cod croquettes....we couldnt find 1gm of cod in it, forget the wonderful smell of freezer Croquetas de pollo - frozen chicken croquettes with very little chicken in them Pescaito frito - probably the only tapas we liked a little, but even this was clearly a frozen item Calamares - nothing crispy about these calamari preparation. soggy squid is no fun Patatas bravas - miles from patatas bravas I have had any other tapas restaurant. roasted potatoes with a...
