The year is 2023. The world is in chaos. But one thing remains constant: the golden arches of McDonald's. In this dark and uncertain time, McDonald's Pamir Drive Ashton Under Lyne is a beacon of hope.
I step inside the restaurant and am immediately transported to a simpler time. The air is filled with the smell of french fries and the sound of children laughing. I order a double Big Mac and a large Coca Cola Zero, and take a seat at a table by the window.
As I wait for my food, I take a moment to appreciate my surroundings. The décor is simple but inviting, with bright red and yellow walls and white tables and chairs. The staff is friendly and efficient, and they quickly bring me my food.
I take a bite of my Double Big Mac and am instantly transported back to my childhood. The burger is juicy and flavorful, with the perfect ratio of meat, cheese, and pickles. The fries are crispy and salty, and the Coca Cola Zero is ice cold and refreshing, to finish, I opt for the Biscoff McFlurry and the Chocolate Pie.
I finish my meal and sit back in my chair, content. McDonald's Pamir Drive Ashton Under Lyne is not fine dining, but it doesn't need to be. It's a place where people can come together to enjoy simple, delicious food. It's a place where families can make memories. It's a place where hope still exists.
In a world that is increasingly divided, McDonald's Pamir Drive Ashton Under Lyne is a reminder that we are all still connected. We are all still human. And we all still deserve a little bit of happiness.
Thank you, McDonald's Pamir Drive Ashton Under Lyne, for being a beacon of hope in...
Read moreAbsolutely appalled beyond belief! We placed an order to be delivered, which was missing my specific item. I have Crohn's disease, which my mother passed away from when she was not much older than me. Anyway, the worst thing, other than my order being missing which was relatively forgivable, was that I called the 'restaurant' to ask if there was any way that I could still receive my order (especially since 2 weeks ago, our entire £55 order went missing and we weren't refunded) . Anyway, I politely enquired with 'Jayden or Aiden', the manager, who answered the phone, and he was so unbelievably rude to me despite me being polite. I asked politely who I was speaking to, he aggressively replied with his name and 'do you want me to write it down?' I was so polite, left the call in tears. I'm a blue badge holder, disabled lady with dietary requests, and simply enquired about my missing item. I won't order from this establishment ever again. I am going to sleep in floods of tears after being made to feel so troublesome. How do people sleep knowing that others don't...
Read moreWithout doubt, this was the worst McDonald's in terms of quality, service and cleanliness of facilities I have experienced as a parent. The food wasn't served for 15 minutes, and that was only after I enquired why it was taking so long. It was cold, and the toy was missing from my daughter's Happy Meal (as they had run out but decided to serve us it anyway and try and get away with it)... when I asked for a refund, some of the younger staff gasped and muttered under their breath and then Manager (who seemed young and inexperienced) tried to play it down when I asked why his staff were being unprofessional. When I took my youngest daughter to the toilet it stunk and was really poorly serviced. The same could be said of the tables, that had smears of sauce and food stuffs all over them and the bins were almost overflowing. They could have been having an off day, but I will try to avoid this...
