Favorite Chicken & Ribs Clacton-on-Sea — Restaurant in Tendring

I ordered quite some time ago and the issue was resolved but the driver didn’t deliver the food to the correct house, I called the store 15mins before they closed as I took into account they may have a few ordered that night. We spoke but the woman on the phone was very hostile and didn’t believe me whatsoever tho I mentioned I have cameras and ring cameras around the home, and to confirm that we had no dog, as apparently a dog was involved somehow. I complimented the store saying how their food never lets me down, it’s amazing and their delivery is speedy so Ik this was abnormal.

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT just one thing that annoyed me was instead of solving the issue, the woman left me and hung up, my sister called again to someone else on the phone and told us to wait a week for an update. We never got any updates so we emailed head office, got it resolved.

But this isn’t putting me off ordering again! This stores food is amazing and delivery is efficient, just that customer service was really rude, considering I work in hospitality too, I would...

One of the worst chicken and chips shops in Clacton-on-Sea. I ordered 20 wings and chips, then requested drumsticks instead, as children couldn’t eat the burnt wings. Instead of following my request, they did the opposite I received 18 wings and only 2 drumsticks, even though I had clearly asked for drumsticks.

I called the branch, and a very rude and arrogant staff member answered the phone. He said they don’t provide drumsticks even when customers request them. When I said that I wouldn’t order from them again, he cut the line without any apology.

His behaviour was extremely rude, and he clearly doesn’t know how to speak to customers. This person needs proper professional training in customer service.

So disappointing. I will never buy from this restaurant again and will also advise my friends and family...

The food here is absolutely fantastic and I would normally give this one a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the last order I had off them which was the spring saver deal the staff short changed me by not putting the correct items in. Correct items were: WHAT I GOT: 6 pieces chicken. 4 CHICKEN PIECES 8 wings 8 WINGS 4 chips 2 CHIPS 2 gravy. 2 GRAVY I know it's not a big difference but after a 12 hour shift and your tired and hungry the last thing you wanna do when you get home is go back out and see if they will sort the order out.
