The reason I am giving 4* for atmosphere is because I hadn't visited in years and I visited recently for a staff evening since it was taken over again, but as it has special events on I would have to visit on another night to give a clear marking of the extra star. As soon as I walked through the doors I was warmly welcomed with a smile as I approached the bar and ordered a Cocktail of choice which was very enjoyable and caught sight of the fresh food being cooked through the open kitchen area, I went to this evening with my daughter where we took our seat, we were given a starter of the fresh food and this was topped up when run low, the waiter and waitress were very polite. This later was cleared away for the main dish to arrive at the table. Taking a look at the menu firstly to check out another Cocktail of choice as it was a long time since having an evening out did notice that the prices were quite high for my normal purse but from the food that was delivered to the table I think could reflect the price listed what you would pay out. The staff were lovely and accommodating and I would certainly visit again for another meal in the future. My only gripe would be that the table should have been one long table rather than top table with 2 long tables either side, missed time talking to my other work family members on that evening.
