Aspendos Margate — Restaurant in Thanet

Went to eat today . There was no one in the restaurant but us . Lovely atmosphere however, I was not happy with the service at all . Told the waiter to give me water without ice and lemon but she gave me with lemon and ice . I mean love the presentation but my God never had Turkish pizza with so much flour . My hands were pure white ( I’m not even exaggerating )all of us had to use tissues to get rid of some flours . I don’t think people even use that much flour for NAAN 🫓 or pancakes 🫓. And there was such amount meat that when I saw , I was shocked . Burned and empty not to mention was not tasty . And I ordered 2 !!! . Liked the lamb shish . Even tho I had much better cooked lamb shish in other restaurant but let’s say this was the only thing that was good between all of things I ordered . The bread that they give at the beginning was sweet so was not my style . Loved the olives . That was the best . £40 was not something I would pay for thing kind of meal . I just wasted £40 . Food was brilliant, however the waitress showed nothing but disdain and poor attitude from seating us. Unable to change ingredients on the menu and when asked we got met with a face and half and a very sharp no. Then when the plates did come they were practically thrown on the table. The resteraunt was not at all busy, the staff were just standing pointing at the table while we were eating which was a little uncomfortable as other diners started to look. All because we had asked if we could change a component of a meal and when told no we ordered both meals and did so ourselves (how dare we solve our own problems). When the meal was collected, they asked how everything was and my husband said the food was lovely, at which point to my disbelief the waitress said really loudly ARE YOU SUGGESTING THAT THERES SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE SERVICE! and literally attempted to insight an argument in the resteraunt. Went today as a family of four. Food came out and was missing a chicken shish. Waited 5 mins and asked the waitress how long the chicken shish would be, she said its on it's way. Another 5 mins passed so I asked her again she pointed to the grill where I could see the chicken being cooked and said it would be 2 mins. That chicken soon disappeared somewhere else. So this time a male waiter walked by so I explained to him and he said he would go and sort it. After a further 15 mins, which was 25 mins after the rest of the family were fed it arrived and the waiter said don't worry I will take money off at the end for you. So I sat and ate my meal while everyone else had finished 20 mins earlier. The bill came and was offered £5 off!!! We had ordered chips to accompany it but they were all gone and would have been cold if any were left. No offer of a drink while I waited 25 mins for my food to come. Won't...
