Giorgios — Restaurant in Thanet

The restaurant is located in a wonderful place, welcomed by a lovely staff. The ambiance inside is very cozy and lively, perfect table settings for families, friends, and solo dining too. The restaurant offers wide range of vegetarian options, surprisingly they have a separate menu filled with yummy vegetarian food options. I ordered a pasta Orecchiette Arrabiata, the rich and fresh tomato sugo had amazing flavors which was a perfect combination with the pasta, and I also ordered a pizza JLR, which was really amazing. The one thing that really attracted me in the pizza was the base, the base was made with high concentration and dedication, it was not too thin or thick, it melts right after you eat it the best pizza dough I have ever had. The staff were super friendly, they were very calmly discussing the menu with paying high concentration to allergy concerns and tried their best suggesting a proper menu for me. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing quality time with great food. Thank you Girogios for the wonderful experience, and the chefs for making yummy food.

I don't review restaurants regularly but my experience of Giorgio's was so nice that I feel inclined. Closed due to Coronavirus it has now reopened with style. Safety is now the priority on arrival eg we weren't allowed to congregate at the bar, had to sign in and sanitise. The staff have been saving all their smiles for 3 months and couldn't wait to serve us. I had the garlic and chilli prawns which were the best I'd ever had followed by the Kleftivo where the lamb fell off the bone. 5*. My niece ordered the wrong pizza - not a problem - the right one arrived 8 minutes later. I ordered a vodka martini with an olive - it arrives with a lemon twist - not a problem - comped. Can we serve our own birthday cake - of course you can - brought out as a surprise with candles and singing. Nothing was too much hassle for the smiling and industrious staff and manager/owner. The staff teamwork was awesome with a great sense of humour to make our experience so enjoyable. Thank you for such a nice evening. Fantastic place absolutely amazing, at the same (or better) price of pizza express it’s impossible to go wrong here, it’s been in business for years and I can see why, if your in the area or even from the next one over you should eat here! From the friendly team who are happy to welcome you in too the great drinks selection, too the starters that came out hot and fast! Then on too the mains the pasta looked amazing and was too, what I had (the pecking duck pizza) was great sounds like it shouldn’t go together but it does I would go for that if you want too try something new, on to dessert the lemon cello tiramisu was truly something great very light,creamy and full of flavour! Service was flawless food was great and place (and toilets) where sparkling clean! I would highly recommend this place...
