Experienced exemplary customer service from the staff at Thanet DT today. Most significantly from a staff member I believe is known as "Joe". He (and his fellow counter colleague) not only provided a friendly, welcoming, demeanor, but were super efficient in service. While both deserve credit for a positive encounter, great service and attention to detail, predominantly my experience was with "Joe" - who I believe is not a regular staff member of this store - his calm demeanor, friendly smiling nature, was so welcoming I was made to feel like nothing was too much trouble. Equally, his colleague on counter duty, proved that there is a very strong "team" ethos in this store whereby you feel like one person is serving you with their full attention, yet the other is beavering away giving another aspect of your order equal attention, to the point where the team fusion becomes one and therefore super efficient! Thank you "Joe" for the professionalism I both experienced, and witnessed, today and also to your colleague who not only gave me a name to call you, but, gave seamless support in providing my top-notch experience. Guys: you did yourselves proud! Unflappable under pressure, calm amidst the turmoil of demands from customers, polite, friendly smiles, efficient service, nothing too much trouble, great coffee, hot toasties, table service, great manners - whats not to love? I visit here regularly as I'm always out and about and the drive thru is very convenient.

The service you receive seems to vary depending on time of day. It always seems understaffed during peek times. I've had a couple of messed up orders in my 100+ visits, (both in rush hour) which I don't mind so much.

Staff are always very friendly although they now try and tempt you to buy a muffin or a bacon roll every so often which does bug me, but I guess that's what Staff are told to do.

I love their coffee which is the biggest thing for me, and lots of vegan drinks available.

I highly rate the coffee here and would recommend them, however I will always urge you to Try a local independent...

If i wanted luke warm coffee and to be called mate, i would have saved some miney and gone to Mc'donalds!, Absolute joke when using drive thru, was kept waiting at the speaker for almost 2 minutes, woman was bot apologetic or polite, waited for the young woman in front to stop having what sounded like a social catch up with staff while my coffees where sorting on a cold stainless worktop nest to the open hatch, finally got to hatch after another 5mins and waited to be served, was looked at by 3 members of staff and ignored, 2 mins latr finally got served with have you paid mate!, was late to pick wife up and drove off with 2 luke warm lattes.
