Dear the owners of this establishment,
I strongly advise employing a larger quantity of staff with a greater sense of enthusiasm for their occupation in which they have chosen, who are dedicated and present customers with more equiped service within this franchise.
I also would like to advise customers who are searching for an enjoyable experience when dining not to visit Tim Horton's, as there are a colossal amount of issues surrounding this franchise. Including the misleading menu variety, when browsing the website I was lead to believe that there was a promising menu with a variety of foods in which all customers would leave satisfied. However upon attending, I was faced with a lacking menu immediately making me disappointed before even recieving my food, during my wait all staff were entering and exiting the kitchen, not serving customers wanting to order at the counter. I waited too long to recieve my order (consisting of one meal) when there was no one else waiting to recieve food. When arriving home to eat my food I couldn't complete my wrap as the lettuce tasted extremely bitter, as if it was out of date. Shortly after I began to feel unwell. My lettuce tasted as if it had been pickled which didn't please me as there was a reason behind me not adding any. I will not accuse Tim Horton's of serving me expired food however it seems as if they did meaning I will not be attending again. Some of there food is okay however is easily replicated via purchasing frozen food in a supermarket, such as tescos which conveniently for them is across the road.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is lacking. There are never many customers and it seems as if since opening the place has downgraded massively. I believe with more dedication it could be an excellent franchise however in its current state I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
I am also aware that the staff asked customers to leave good reviews in return for a free donut, which is unacceptable and paints a poor image on this place. Along side that the staff have left fake positive reviews in order to drive more customers in as they are most likely aware of how poor the service, and food is here. The staff are not dedicated to their occupation, I believe I did an equal amount of work as the member of staff serving me, he dropped my fries and asked me to pick them up due to his lack of gloves, which seem very unhygienic considering he had been entering the kitchen.
The food lacks flavour and is extremely dissatisfying. My fries were blander than Dane Cook's so called "comedy". It wouldnt surprise me if they bought them from aldi.
I'll wrap up this review better than the staff wrapped my wrap (which was lacking additives) by telling you not...
Read moreSo... Went into Tim's today as I love the donuts and always like to grab one as I don't live anywhere near to one.
Used the touch screen order point as no staff visible at first. Ordered a burger and fries, with two different donuts (the luxury, overpriced £3.29 ones) and a hot chocolate. Waited about 5 minutes for the food. Sat down and noticed I was missing one of the donuts, went back to the counter and it took two staff members to realise what I was trying to tell them. They said they were out of stock of the donut I wanted, so I chose a different one which wasn't as expensive. No offer was made for the gap to be made up, or change offered back to me. Whilst eating the food, I was approached by a member of staff who awkwardly hovered before saying hello and said that if you leave a review on Google, you can get a free donut. This is whilst I was eating which I think is extremely rude and dreadful customer service skills. I did a generic 5* star review which I've now edited into this essay (because it'd have been even more awkward than the interaction with her, to write a long review like this whilst she was standing there). The burger and fries were average, the hot chocolate tasted lumpy and disgusting, one sip and binned. The donuts I purchased were nice but the free one tasted stale! Wouldn't recommend this...
Read morePlease read Updated review 😞 , things have changed . Original review- Very pleased we decided to visit for breakfast today. Breakfast Stacks are tasty and really good value. Donuts taste as good as they look. Coffee has a really nice aroma and taste. I recommend the dark roast if you like your coffee to taste strong. Staff are friendly and really helpful. Thank you Lester, you made our visit feel authentically Canadian 👍 Update to above : - Now this restaurant has been open for a couple of months the standards have slipped, a lot. It's still clean but the service has gone. One staff member in particular seems to want to argue with customers when they make a comment about the reduced quality of their food/drink which isn't very professional at all. I would think it was embarrassing for the customer. It certainly has stopped me mentioning that the dark roast coffee has started tasting bland😔 As for service, well a 14 minute wait for a single cup of coffee whilst I was the only customer in the restaurant ( and the drive through was quiet), is that acceptable? I'm sorry Tim Hortons but what was my go to coffee stop may be losing a few customers. No wonder it was dead...
