Fields Café — Restaurant in Thanet

I messaged this cafê last night to ask if they were wheelchair accessible and got an electronic reply saying they would reply during opening hours but I got a reply there and then saying they were and did we want to book a table which we did for today. We went and took our little dog with us as she lost her mum easter Sunday and we can't leave her. Being as I had seen on Facebook Fields is dog friendly this is why we decided to go there plus the food (especially the sausage rolls) looked amazing. Heidi and her staff were so lovely, nothing was too much trouble and our food was delicious. The tea and coffee were good quality too. I loved the fact my tea came in a pot with a little jug of milk and a cup and saucer. We had a sausage roll and it was as good as it looked. They gave Baby (my dog) treats. The cakes looked wonderful so we brought some home for later. There is no doubt we will be going back. Parking is perfect as there is a carpark just round the corner. There is lots of room to move about in my wheelchair and the tables are perfect for the wheelchair. It is spotlessly clean and just an all round...

I held my daughters babyshower at Fields recently, the food was exceptional! It was all well laid out, looked beautiful and tasted amazing! The service was wonderful they really couldn't do enough for us all! We had a large party of people with us and Fields arranged a lovely area for us so that we could be together. We had great fun and nothing was too much trouble. I arranged the shower quite last minute.....only two weeks previous....but Heidi was brilliant and managed to accomodate us all.....the organisation was great and she kept in contact right up to the day! We went here for afternoon tea for a baby shower. Service was a bit slow, there was a long wait for some people even though was told that the food was already pre done. The food was OK, but there was some problems with some of the sandwich orders. People did not get the ones they ordered. Also, a person did not turn up due to being ill, but because they were not told in advance, the full amount was payable. Not sure how you can tell them in advance you are going to be ill. They need to make you aware at time of arranging this sort of event, that as well as the deposit, the full amount will be due on the day, even if someone does...
