Kebabish — Restaurant in Thanet

I honestly don’t know where to start with this shambles of a takeaway. £56 later and I wish I’d just gone hungry.

First off, three items were missing from my order, and nobody bothered to contact me to let me know. On top of that, they’re still advertising items on their website that were discontinued ages ago – how is that not false advertising?

The food itself was a disgrace. It turned up stone cold, dripping in grease, and in an absolute state. Portion sizes were laughable – more like a child’s meal than an adult’s, yet they’re charging premium prices. The sauce, which was supposed to come packaged separately, was just dumped in, making the mess even worse.

Service was even worse than the food. Staff were rude, dismissive, and when I raised the issue, they lied about resolving it. They flat-out refused to refund me, even for the missing items. Shocking customer service from start to finish.

The delivery was another joke – the driver didn’t even bother knocking on the door, and yet I was charged £4.50 for a delivery that was less than 5 minutes away.

The first time i bought from here it wasnt too bad but this time 😡The food turned up late, barely warm and missing the extra pitta bread as the one provided was soaked with fat and sauce. The mixed kebab was, lamb donner which was edible but under the other meat and very greasy. The kofty was hard and tasted old and stale and wasn't edible. The chicken donner wasn't chicken any more! It was so hard it was almost see through and mostly tiny hard pieces that looked like dried onion and completely inedible. Most of he chips were so over cooked and dried out i nearly broke a tooth. To top it all off it was absolutely covered in sauce which disguised the food. I am disgusted that they could send out such awful food. How does their business expect to survive when they give their customers that and call it food. I tried to save some that wasn't covered in sauce...

Ordered a takeaway on just eat. When my kebab arrived it was cold and burnt. I called them and spoke to 3 different people to then be told I would be called back. Several minutes later I was called back to be told my food was not cold (not quite sure how they knew this…) and that the cctv was checked and the chicken was not burned. Never heard of such rubbish. Also told there was nothing they could do, my food definitely was not cold and they had no drivers to deliver another. £13 for a kebab I would not of paid £3 for it. Not edible at all.
