Really lovely cafe at the absolute top of the high street.

A tiny bit off the beaten track at the top of the high street. Walls adorned ( as wallpaper effect) with actual (it appeared) hessian coffee sacks with different bespoke brands of coffee / single roasts. Items for sale displayed everywhere

Attention to detail was really great, the cake offered warm and with butter etc etc. Place had a nice relaxed vibe and a friendly welcome.

Coffee was nice, everyone says it is, as was the toastie. Mulled wine and mince pies too!, but it was 1030am...

Definitely worth a walk a bit further up the high street....

I can honestly say I have never felt so uncomfortable or had an experience like it at a cafe. Four of us sat to have lunch and I went to the counter to simply ask if it was table or counter service. I was told I was "cluttering" the area and to "sit down". After that the man criticised the dog of the neighbouring table adding to the negative atmosphere so we left. The coffee is incredibly what you deserve, that syrupy gooey bean crushed nectar that comes out of the spout that can proudly claim to be an espresso.
