Dallas Chicken & Pizza - Margate — Restaurant in Thanet

This was our last stop on our day trip to Margate. Dinner time and it was a struggle to find something open that wasn't a big fast food restaurant (Like McDonald's across the road from this place) because we wanted to support something local to Margate.

The shop: Looked absolutely amazing!! The lighting and signs was great, seems like a great vibe. The bad things were some of the tables, including the one we sat at were not cleaned which is minus points in my book. If the store is not busy then I do not see a reason as to why the tables would not be cleaned. The restroom at the back, defo one to avoid unless you have to go.

The food: Horrible. We ordered the boneless bucket and the chips were nice as they were still hot but the chicken pieces were... not good. The chicken bites were decent. The chicken nuggets were kids meal size and tasted like they were from frozen foods at your local supermarket. The worst thing about the food was unfortunately the chicken strips. I am a BIG fan of chicken strips but these had NO flavour at all and tasted like they had been out for a while. It is such a shame!! You can even see in the pictures, they had no colour to them and they tasted as bland as they looked. And on top of that, we were missing our one side (baked beans)!

On the upside, we did get some milkshake from here too which were not pictured but they were nice.

I hope in the future the food will taste as good as their shop looks because the shop definitely gives of a good vibe and very photographic but the food man. Sorely disappointed with the food.... Might have been better off going down the road to the place I spoke about at the very beginning of this review... Nevertheless, wish you...

What a pleasant experience, friendly staff, lovely customer service experience and OMGoodygosh the milkshakes are so yummy! Very filling, be warned. Ordered Oreo and kinder Bueno mmm I'm not sure why I'm surprised but they have fresh chicken for a peri burger with peri chips. Hands down the best I've ever gobbled. Waiting time approx 12 mins as it's freshly grilled and they were kind enough to inform us while we waited. I'm impressed. Partner ordered fillet burger which was more than satisfying. For the road we took chilled drinks and a small 7"pizza £3.99! Will be recommending far and wide and WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK FOR MORE TREATS. Because I'm worth it🥰. KFC you've lost a customer for life. Margate Dallas Chicken...

Customer service excellent. Well worth the journey. So pleased to know it was Halal meat. Everything fresh, chips way better than KFC!! beautiful new vibrant shop, children loved the neon signs. Took a selfie on their wall mural. Family friendly store with baby high chairs, ladies room perfect for prams, so a quick nappy change was done with ease. Spacious enough for prams. I can’t wait to come back again and treat the family as the food was so delicious! Parking just minutes walk away, fee won’t break the bank. Dallas offer was fantastic for opening!! They even sell the best shakes in town!
