Great location, just a few steps away from the seafront. The restaurant is nice and cozy, offering a good selection on the menu. The staff was welcoming and friendly, but it seemed they lacked adequate training. When we requested a Shandy, it took three attempts for the waiter to bring the correct drink: first, we were given a glass of Chardonnay, then a bottle of Sprite, and finally, we asked for a half pint of lager and made the Shandy ourselves.
The food was average and the service slightly different from other Turkish restaurants we've visited. We expected the salad and bread to be served first, but they arrived with a couple of the main dishes, and we had to wait a bit longer for the other two mains to come out. Although the food was tasty, it might not have been worth the wait.
The prices are higher compared to a Turkish restaurant in central London. It might be beneficial for the restaurant to consider this and work on maintaining a good relationship with the local community. With a few improvements, it has the potential to become a top restaurant in...

We were a party of 5 with a very fussy 16 year old eater. The fussy 16 year old has now declared this restaurant as his all time favourite! Just a shame it's 7 hours away from where we live, we'd be here every week if we were locals.
We had chicken shish, lamb shish, falafel and I had vegetarian sarma bayti which was delicious! I felt I couldn't finish it but didn't want to stop eating, it was so tasty! The bulgar was cooked to perfection and the rice the best the fussy 16 year old had ever had (and the best chicken he's ever had too)!
The staff were all attentive, friendly and polite. They really enhanced our experience eating here.
The setting is modern and tasteful and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into every aspect right down to the glasses and tableware.
Thank you for such a lovely meal and experience at your...
Read moreI recently dined at Naj Turkish for my mothers birthday and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience despite the food being delicious. The service was very slow and disorganized—drinks didn’t arrive until after the starters, and the starter bread came out after we had finished the appetizers. To top it off, one of our mains was incorrect and had to be remade, still arriving without the chips that were supposed to come with it. The white wine, priced at nearly £8 a glass, was served unrefrigerated and was of noticeably poor quality. The waitresses seemed untrained and struggled to keep up with the basic service needs. While the food itself was genuinely tasty, the poor service, long waits, and overall disarray made for a frustrating dining experience. Given the prices and the service issues, it’s hard to recommend unless they make significant improvements in...
