This happened roughly a decade ago but I still remember it like it was yesterday.
I was a young Spanish student who was staying at a host family's house in Broadstairs for a week as part of a trip to England with my school. One morning, me and my roommate were feeling hungry and had no food in our bags, so we went to our hosts' bakery (this place) to buy something to eat. We picked chocolate brownies because they looked delicious and were at a good price.
To this day, those brownies are the best pastry I've ever had. I've been to England a few times since then and every single time I've regretted not being able to make the time to go to this place again. Lovely food and lovely owners as well. They were very kind to us. And, judging from the photos online, the bakery looks even nicer than it was when I went there.

The interior is unique and a real treat, especially for little ones I expect.
