Google says youâre open. Arrive and youâre closed, thatâs ordinary enough.
What makes it worse is the sign on the door saying âwe are closed today, and you know whyâ apparently I am supposed to know why?
Not everyone is a local and in the loop. Extremely ordinary. Only not giving 1 star because I know this place is excellent when it is open and I donât want to hurt its rating too badly.

EDIT: 1 star for the sarcastic reply from the owner, people exist in the world other than people in Broadstairs. Hospitality experts cater for all people, take it from me, a hospitality expert.
SOME ADVICE, next time say âthose of you who know, know, for those who donât, we are having a baby! So we are closed for the foreseeableâ
That would have been a smarter option, an option used by people who care about hospitality of any potential customer or guest, not just their regulars and locals. Also use Google to adjust opening hours when youâre not open. Also what professionals in the hospitality industry do.
Assuming EVERYONE knows who you are and the story of your lives is arrogant and reeks of self importance.
I have lots of family who live in the area, and they will no longer support this small business.
Such a shame as your coffee and food is really nice. No wonder this business was for sale in the...
Read more£12+ for scrambled egg on toast. £3.75 for a can of fizzy apple juice. The prices at this place are insane, truly ridiculous. I forgot to stop at Tesco on the way down to the beach and didn't have long today so thought I'd give this place my business, somewhat regrettable. The can of drink is just reselling something they have bought wholesale and marked up by an extortionate amount. I understand making a profit, I ran a service based business before. I understand free choice and I could go elsewhere. However, I also understand reviews are there so that others can be forewarned or informed of the pluses and minuses of a business. Yes, the location here is great, yes it's right on the beach and has a nice artisan feel about it. However, is it value for money - no it is not. As others have commented, the coffee is standard price compared to other places but I would encourage anyone looking to eat, go directly above this location to any of the cafes, restaurants, bakeries at the top of the cliff and you'll get much better options and at a more reasonable price. Would I go again? - yes for a coffee but I'll buy the soft drink at the Tesco before heading to the beach next time and get a freshly baked treat from the...

Would personally say in my vast experience of making and drinking coffee this is in my top 3 places to go. I drink coffee all over the world, often trying to find places that have special blends or make their own and buy to have at home. I've done so over the last 10 years. It's very difficult to find an exceptional cup; not a good cup but an exceptional one and this place doesn't disappoint. But then you have the ambience, the vibe, the feel, the scenery; everything just adds to the epicness that's their coffee. And then you have lunch there... (Italian kiss) Would I recommend? Oh I...
