I went here for a nice breakfast the food was very good with decent portions and recently priced too. I found all the staff very professional and kind. I had a three little niggles, however some more preference than anything. The first was that the back pudding had just a weird taste to it and weirdly still had the wrap even though it was cooked not sure if that gave it it's weird unapatising taste. The second is my opinion/preference, I found the service is great but we was in the middle of eating and was approached by a member of staff asking questions about the meal, I get that is supposed to be good customer service but it feels very awkward having to hurry up to answer the questions, and would be better suited after eating. My last niggle was the bill, we was waiting for the bill after taking our plates away for a very long time to the point we had to get up and approach the staff in order to pay the bill, like I said small things but it is a little annoying to have to wait so long. However these being said there was far more good things to combat those niggles. It was VERY clean and tidy inside and you could tell it was managed very well. The staff were professional kind and courteous although very busy at the time I went and they seemed happy with their job. The table was cleaned before we sat down and the food and drink even though it was extremely busy was bought out in a timely fashion. The decor was very nice also with very nice seating inside and out. I would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone as it is a very nice location surrounding the cafe to go for a day trip, and the cafe is top notch in my opinion.

Went in today and location is perfect across the road and in view of the lovely Ironbridge. Looking at the menu we chose to have paninis with milkshakes, honestly what was served was nothing short of daylight robbery. The milkshakes well, see picture was milk with powder milkshake formula and priced at £4 is absolutely horrific, we questioned this and was told it’s flavored mixture and not a proper milkshake… this should be detailed in the menu! The panini came with salad, small coleslaw and about 4 tortilla nacho chips all to grand told of £26… the panini was just bread which looked to have been microwaved with cheese and two small tomato pieces. Honestly I’ve been to so many places (check my other reviews) this was nothing short of absolute rip off and poor standard of food. The milkshak (by name) was swapped for small 330ml bottle of coke at same price £4. 01/05/25 - poor response, we raised it immediately with staff. The menu did not state you do two milkshake varieties so we ordered what was present on menu. The picture of so called panini shows it was just bread microwaved with cheese slice in. Proof is in the pictures posted, check with your staff it was raised initially to female member of staff who called a male member of staff over who came over and said all milkshakes were made with syrup, I beg to differ from taste but that’s mine and wife’s opinion. It was powder form taste mixed with milk, you can either own up or continue telling a lie.

This is a great spot to pause for a relaxed tea break while exploring Ironbridge. We dropped by on a weekend afternoon and really appreciated that it was still open when many other cafés had already closed. The service was friendly, and the menu offered a wide range of teas, cakes, and light bites. The pot of Darjeeling tea was especially good, delicate but flavourful. The cakes were fresh and not overly sweet. Prices were reasonable, and the setting was calm and welcoming. What really adds to the charm is the cozy interior, decorated with vintage-style posters and old photographs that give the place a sense of history and warmth. A solid choice for anyone looking to unwind with a good cuppa and a treat in Ironbridge.

Called in today 18/09/21. There were 6 of us and given that it was very late afternoon we accepted that a lot of the things on the menu were not available. We ordered 2 ordinary milk shakes and one luxury milk shake. A cream tea, 2 soft drinks and a Bailey special coffee which was supposed to come with whipped cream and marshmallows. A brownie, a rocky road slice and a piece of lemon cake. The 2 ordinary milk shakes consisted of a half pint glass filled with milk at room temperature and a squirt of syrup. The rocky road had obviously been in a land slide as it was such a small portion we thought half of it was missing! The Baileys special coffee arrived with no marshmallows and when I cut open the scone it was warm on the outside and frozen in the middle! I explained to the woman serving about the scone, it was my daughters birthday and she didn't want me to 'make a fuss' until her partner agreed it was completely frozen in the middle and inedible. The server raised her eyes to the ceiling and without apology removed it and brought another one. The scones were obviously frozen and then microwaved and so were 'doughy' when sliced into. OK, so I proceeded to spread the tiny amount (about 1 teaspoon) of jam and cream onto one side of the scone, there wasn't enough for both sides! One bite and I'm eating sour cream. So I asked if it was just my taste buds but 2 others at the table confirmed it was sour. Went to pay and took the scone up to explain about the sour cream. The servers response was "we got that out specially!" My husband asked her to remove the price of it from the bill as it was inedible. Maybe it was because it was the end of the day and it had been a busy one I don't know but we certainly didn't get the food or the service some of the reviews on here allude to. The only positives were the luxury milkshake which was cold and delicious according to my husband and I did enjoy the Earl Grey tea which was a decent sized pot for one. At just 5p short of £34 certainly not value for money given the portion sizes although to be fair had the scone been edible it would have probably just about satisfied 2 people given its size. I'm only sorry I didn't think to take photos of the food to show the portion sizes. Definitely think we got the left over portions that weren't served to anyone else throughout the day because they...
