Pepe's — Restaurant in Three Rivers

Food every time I've ordered has been fine but customer service this order was difficult.

I ordered elsewhwere on another app and was told the restaurant was closed. So decided to order pepes on just-eat and was told delivery was at 11:15pm (1 hour after ordering). The delivery I was told was too late to order somehow turned up at 10:30pm so immediately cancelled my pepes order and paid £8 for their incovenience.

I then recieved a missed call and then I accepted their second call and whoever it was was asking what they were meant to do with the food as it was already out for delivery. I tried to explain what happened but he wouldn't listen and I explained I'd paid the cancellation fee and that's that. They decided to deliver 45 minutes early so whys that my fault?

I've let my other food go cold while I write this review because I feel like questioning why I cancelled my order isn't needed and using your driver being out for delivery 45 minutes ahead of the expected delivery time isn't an excuse and its rubbed up the wrong way. I've had to pay for essentially two meals and recieved one but you made me feel like I did something wrong....

Hello I did my order at peri peri manager took my order but he made mistake and did wrong item. I did my takeaway drive home 10 min and since me and my wife wanted start eat its wrong order I went back spoke with one of the staff he was ok wanted help me but then I mentioned can u add notes for your staff to do training do proper training for taking order. Tham he said manager took my order so he called him. He came to till and said he don't do mistakes but just blame on me. I said to him I said what I need and I point on right item on menu too. But he still stick with his answer its me nor him who made error. Than he said if I admit my mistake say I'm wrong he will fix the order. I said what you want to lie. I said check cameras. He start look into very slowly took him 15 min I said I'm rushing home I have meeting he COUDNT FIND anything where he is right. I said just give me money and I will leave.that what I did. This is just the rickmansworth high street one, I go to the hemel one and it's better in every way I will state. Firstly, the tables were half clean and there was bugs everywhere. The staff were rude and trying to get me to spend more constantly. When the food arrived the tray was a mess. They had put large fries in the medium containers which wasn't big enough for the fries to they were just spilled everywhere. We ordered peri fries, the peri salt was all over the tray and piled on about 4 fries. I had to mix it in myself. The chicken XL was dry and had hardly any chicken or flavour at all, and the bun was slightly burnt. The peri Mayo looked out of date and completely different to every other Pepe's I've been to.
