I recently had the pleasure of dining at Noor Mahal and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and traditional Indian charm, making it a wonderful place for both casual meals and special occasions.

The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was a vibrant explosion of flavors, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries or prefer something milder, there's something on the menu for everyone. The prawn balti was particularly outstanding—rich, aromatic, and bursting with authentic flavours that transported my taste buds straight to India. The naan was soft and fresh, the perfect accompaniment to the meal.

What truly set this experience apart was the incredible service. The waitstaff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving. They took the time to explain each dish, offered excellent recommendations, and ensured that every need was met with a smile. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the staff is as remarkable as the food, but Noor Mahal manages to excel in both areas.

Five Stars – A Fantastic Evening!

My husband and I were so excited for the Elton Night at Noor Mahal, but when we initially enquired, it was fully booked. The staff were incredibly kind, took our details, and promised to let us know if any availability came up. A few weeks later, to our delight, they called to say they could fit us in – we were so grateful!

The night finally arrived after a particularly stressful week at work, and I’ll admit, I had completely forgotten about our booking. But to my surprise, the restaurant called to remind me—something they absolutely didn’t have to do. I was so appreciative because otherwise, we would have lost our deposit! I let them know we’d be there in 15–20 minutes, and despite being late, we were greeted with the warmest welcome.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing, the staff were all smiles, and Elton was absolutely fantastic. We settled in, and wow—what an incredible few hours! The service was impeccable, the food was delicious as always, and the entertainment was top-tier. The team worked tirelessly throughout the evening, even with another sitting to manage, yet they never stopped smiling.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff for making it such a brilliant night. These special themed evenings that they host every few months are a must-visit. Without a doubt, the best Indian restaurant in Abbots Langley!

Wow, what can I say!

As we walked in, we were greeted by a lovely staff member (Imran). We were informed that there were no available spaces which was unfortunate, but their sincerity was heart touching and they told us to come back in 40 minutes,so we tried another place across the road.

It immediately became clear that the other place was lovely, and the service was adequate but we felt Noor Mahal was just a step above, so we tried our luck again!

Boy did we make the right choice! Things don’t always go right in life but if you roll the dice you may get more than what you bargained for.

We returned again and we were met by Imran with a delighted and authentic smile who directed us to a table that had been freed.

The busy atmosphere informed us “hey this place is popular” and you can’t ever disregard the locals’ experience!

We ordered tikka masala and some curry ting wid mince meat.

Imran’s warm demeanour and zest for life matched the quality of the curry.

Excellent 10/10 would recommend and it’s halal!
