Bank Holiday Friday I chose to leave due to the disrespect and attitude from their staff member. They were struggling to cope with the food orders so we were asked to wait 30mins to order so we did and then went to order again and was asked to wait another 30mins!!! An hour to order food and we only got that info when we waited in the bar queue for 10mins first! We had 3 adults and 7 kids with our party...all ordering food and then due to the disgusting behaviour of their staff we chose to leave and take our customs elsewhere. Customer service is absolutely shocking!!! Even other customers in the garden we’re in shock when they heard the member of staff talk to another customer with disrespect and attitude. I wrote on their Fb page and yesterday ended up getting a response...then they deleted their comments as I told them how I thought it was terribly unprofessional writing to me on a public page. I will never take my family or friends...

Fantastic pub/restaurant!

It's a well-priced gastro pub with a very mixed clientele ranging from families, "ladies at lunch" through to senior citizens.

They stock a number of ales from micro breweries that change regularly but are all very well kept. Other drinks are of equally good quality and well-priced.

Food is excellent; everything from light bites to full meals and sharing platters. All cooked fresh (without the use of a microwave thank God!) and delicious.

There is a large garden stretching behind and to both sides of the pub. One side has climbing frames etc for children whilst the other side is more of an adult terrace / lawn area. That's not to say that kids are banned from one side, it's just the natural way it works out.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive.

Recommended for families, couples and smaller groups. Particularly good for those visiting the nearby Harry...

Booked this pub for a roast on the recommendation of others, however the food was enjoyed by most of my table, the service left a lot to be desired, Note to management “ if you think it’s acceptable to try and fool your customers by collecting the deserts you had accidentally left on another table for over 10 mins And then ask that table if they had touched them! I know this as I know the people on this table ! To then pretend to change them ! You only changed them when I pulled you up on it. ! “ side note both waitresses were seen laughing about what they were doing. I left a tip but only for the young lad serving today he was lovely, but madame with the Attitude and black hair, you personally could do with a lesson in customer service. If you think I’m impressed with your attitude think again. If management need funds for this I’m...

Arrived at 6pm on a Sunday on the off chance, no booking so couldn’t go in the restaurant but was accommodated in the bar area which was fine. Was still able to get a roast dinner which was a nice surprise as most other places by this time stop serving or have sold out! Service was very friendly, quick efficient & made to feel really welcome. There were other people in the bar area who had dogs so even better for us we got to fuss some woofers! We had a chicken & nut roast dinners. Really nice - gravy was amazing. Service was so quick, pleasant chilled vibe. Car park is pretty small, but there were still a couple of spaces available. We’d have probably parked in the public car park which is about 5mins walk away if we hadn’t found a space.

Great pub with food that’s actually good—no soggy fries here! The atmosphere is buzzing with energy & the service? Spot on. The staff is like your cool friend who always knows what's up. But... the noise. Can be a bit much a “background hum” as it is a “full-on festival” where you’ll need to shout to ask for the bill but thats Saturday night Still, with a pint in hand & a plate of surprisingly excellent food, you might just start shouting your new favourite song, too. It's worth it for the vibe, but bring earplugs if you're trying to have a deep conversation. Good food & Definitely be back with friends & family for lunches & dinner.

We didn't have the best experience. There wasn't alot of people in the pub, drinking or eating but there seemed to be a good number of staff on shift. The menus were dirty and we were given two different menus which made our food choices a bit tricky. We had the meat sharer and half the plater wasn't edible, the coleslaw was very soggy and the covered chicken was also soggy and gross. The pizza and fries were very enjoyable. The service was abit slow, they had to check 4 times to get our orders right. The coffee machine was very noisy. The carpark entrance wasn't very clearly signed and sat nav sent us too far down the road.
