A very charming cafe situated inside one of the old carriages at the remains of Bideford train station. As it is only a single carriage, the is limited seating but we visited during a quieter day and there was a table free.
The lady who I believe runs the cafe was very friendly and talkative and asked what we would like. The cafe has a nice selection of hot drinks, cakes and pastries. A cup of tea and slice of cake were just what was needed after a cycle along the Tarka Trail.
The atmosphere of both the carriage itself and the railway station as a whole are lovely and it was nice to watch the families walking by and kids looking at the equipment inside the signal box.

It's based in one of the old railway carriages, where you can also sit inside at a table, plus they have picnic tables outside on what used to be the station platform.
The cakes and treats looked tasty, and they had gluten-free options too. Shame it's instant and not filter or espresso...
