Went here this evening, as the only time we go to eat in fish and chips is on holiday. Was impressed with the portion size and I was allowed to swap my cup of tea for a diet drink on the deal of the day order. This place is great if you are really hungry. The portion sizes are good. On busy times expect a delay. Also if you're ordering a lot of food expect a delay. This applies to most establishments anyway. Food is tasty. Has a restaurant which is open throughout the week. Best to ring them to see whether the restaurant is open or closed. , I ate a few chips then went subway instead ! Naff forks and what appeared to be pepper sprinkled on my chips, probably to make them taste a little desirable. Basic crappy plain wet chips with no flavour. And the "chef" seemed like he was at a funeral ! No thankyou, just a 20 min wait for CHIPS!
