Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Trafford

I went into the store today to order lunch for 2, asked the girl behind the counter what was included in the lunch deal, she started to reply , a sandwich and a bottle of water but then carried on a conversation with a colleague, she then came back to me , then was interrupted again and eventually said anything in the fridges. We had chosen from the fridges so proceeded to pay, after being told to put them on the tray as it was easier for her . She then said it was £14.95 so I asked the price of the meal deal and she went to check and came back and said £4.95 so asked why it was £14.95. She didn't have a clue so asked her colleague, he said " NOT THESE" as he pointed to our sandwiches and carried on what he was doing . I gave up at this point and just paid. She didn't even pass us our tray , she just snatched the sandwiches off as I leant over to get it. This is the only Costa I have ever been in where I've felt the staff were rude , didn't even know about their own products and too be honest the girl was more interested in making sure her ponytail was down her front rather than her back as she kept playing with it.....not good when you are dealing with food! DIsappointing !

My daughter also used the toilets and said they weren't very...

Really like this Costa, nice location in Hale village, usually buzzing with laptop jockeys and chatting groups and couples. Great for people watching inside and out. It’s situated on a corner with windows filling two sides, so easy to see what’s going down in Hale. I only gave it 4 stars because it could do with a lot more power outlets, so there’s a bit of musical chairs going on as people leave a premium spot with charge point and someone else swoops...

(Hale branch)Careless staffs. The place was not busy but they busied talking to each other. I was waiting for my ham cheese toasted in the owen and nobody seem to notice untill I reminded them and my sanwich was burnt so they made another one by the time to serve I almost finish my drink. Worst! No apology. Otherwise thing should be fine cos' people...
