Read moreOk here goes. The staff are impeccable. If you really want a brilliant coffee with an even better crème then make sure Gabby is running the counter. She makes some of the best coffee around. Now to the food why oh why if your offering sandwiches why does the village cafe buy the cheapest crap put their. I love a blt the filling is great but the toast lets it down. They have great bakery next door but one and yet they buy the cheapest sliced bread. They are a Turkish style cafe and Turkey has a rep for some of the best bread in the world and their bagels just rolls with a hole and some sugary stuff on them. With a Jewish clientele it’s like serving a Frenchman lambrusco as champagne. But their wraps and salads and everything else is superb.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST HATS OFF TO GABBY SHES A REAL HERO...
