The Elk of Hale — Restaurant in Trafford

This place is not bad. Always quite lively, but rather small. The size means that if you get one largish party turn up (say8-12 people) then it will feel overcrowded very quickly, but then jump to feeling deserted by time they leave. Difficult to strike a right balance. Also, there is only one bathroom each for men and women, so the queue can get quite long. The drinks are rather expensive for what they are. Given that the place has more of a pub feel and look to it, you would think prices were a bit more reasonable. It's a nice enough venue, just watch the step if you are sitting at a table.
